Students will learn how to:

- State a main idea of a text and support it with key details
- Determine text structure
- Identify the difference in a firsthand or secondhand account
Writing: Opinion/Argumentative Writing
- Students will learn how to state a claim and support their claim with evidence from a text.
Vocabulary:
- Students will learn and review compound words and inflected endings.
Students will learn how to:
