Meet Our Team
Hello! Welcome to the LWE 4th grade team website. We are very excited to have this opportunity to share our website with our students, their families, and our fellow teachers. We are already off to a great start to the 2023-2024 school year. Please visit our website regularly as we will be updating our information often. We will post special dates of interest, links to help our parents and students with homework, and we will post an overview of the curriculum that we are working on in reading, language arts, math, social studies, science, and health.

Meet Ms. Carr
Hi, friends! Welcome to 4th Grade! I am so glad to be starting my 7th year at LWE! I grew up in Auburn, GA, a tiny town with lots of cows. In 2012, I moved to Milledgeville, GA, where I attended Georgia College and State University (GCSU). I graduated from GCSU in 2017 after earning degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Psychology.
I love spending time with my family, reading, and exploring nature! I hike as often as I can in the summer, and camp as much as I can in the fall. On the weekends, I can usually be found riding my bike, eating dairy-free ice cream cones, or playing with my puppy, Brinkley! Brinkley is my best buddy... we do everything together!
I have one sister, a brother-in-law, a niece (Scarlett, 12) and a nephew (Asa, 6). My favorite thing to do with my family is play board games, especially Yahtzee! (I usually win...)
Brinkley loves car rides, walkies, and napping in his favorite spot on the couch. He also likes to snack on my shoes when I am not looking. He is a sneaky little fellow.

Meet Ms. Atterholt
Hello Lake Windward families! I am so excited to be a part of the fourth grade team for my fourth year! I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and I have completed my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University. I grew up in Gainesville, Ga and have lived in various parts of Georgia my entire life. I have three precious boys, two who will be attending LWE. My boys are John, Anaken, and Ryker. My hobbies include reading, traveling, drinking coffee, hiking, painting, and anything that keeps me active. I look forward to an amazing year with our fourth graders! |
Meet Ms. Dale
Hello, Lake Windward families! I am thrilled to be a part of the fourth grade team this year. This will be my second year teaching 4th grade!
I graduated Georgia College and State University in 2019 and recently graduated with my Masters in Teaching from Liberty University! I actually attended Chattahoochee High School, so I grew up in the area too! My fiancé is a teacher and football coach in Gwinnett county, so most of my Friday nights are spent at high school football games! In my free time I enjoy exercising, reading, spending time outside, and traveling. I cannot wait to begin the school year with your students! |
